Dear pilots and "retro" flying lovers. Are you tired of fast soaring with up-to-date fancy fiber gliders? Not a big deal! Even this year you are welcome to LZNI - Nitra airport for the already famous competition called Oldtimer Pribina Star alias OPS 2019.

Starting fee is 19 - yes, nineteen - euro and you should remember that on Friday, August 2nd, you should arrive to our aerodrome. This year will be special due to the 100th anniversary of Nitra airport and of the aviation in our city. The competition itself wii start the next day - on August 3rd at 10 a.m. Are you a party person? No problem at all: Aeroclub party is scheduled for August 6th and Hangarparty with a prizegiving ceremony will take place on August the 9th. That will be the end of the OPS 2019 as well, but: no one can force you to leave. If you will enjoy it here - simply stay as long as you wish!

Who can fly? Everyone with pilot license with glider made before 1960. L-13, L-23 or gliders with at least one wooden part are counted also. Newer gliders can compete with crew older than 75 (double sitters 150) years.

Aerotowing will cost you 3€ per minute, thermals are free of charge again. In the hangar we are able to accommodate some 40 gliders and also some amount of people in the bungalows (there is another option to find accommodation in near village). Old rule: first come – first take.

In case of bad weather you can relax or explore Nitra region Nitra City, Bojnice, Chateau Topolčianky, Botanical garden Mlyňany, Banská Štiavnica, Thermal Pool Kesov, Thermal Pool Podhájska, Capital city Bratislava, Spa Piešťany.
